The Shipping News

JC&E -The Boat

This time last year we were anxiously waiting for the shipping news – we’d received notification that Just Cause and Effect -Selenium Deficiency in New Zealand was on the water and due to land in Lyttleton on November 20.

As it happened, our ship came in a few days early – which was, of course, after it was several months late – covid-era shipping being what it is. We were lucky, our agents were awesome, keeping us informed at every step of the way at a time when mostly what they were relaying was bad news, to their credit they never stopped communicating and everything they were able to expedite, was expedited quickly.

Even the obligatory NZ Customs rifle through was done with speed.

Now a year on, we’ve sold more than 400 copies, two lucky Rural News readers will get a free copy of Just Cause and Effect: selenium deficiency in New Zealand, if you want to sign up for that competition, follow this link, then scroll to page 25 for the details.

If you miss out, you can buy direct from our website, or pop into your local Paper Plus, if they don’t already have it in stock, they’ll find it in their system and you can let them know they’re still in time to get stocks before before Christmas.

This is the one book you want to read this summer because it’s not rocket science, it’s all just cause and effect (and bonus – it’s already in the country!)
